The Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) is responsible for generation of nuclear power for electricity. NPCILis owned by the Government of India. Stipend Payable for Apprenticeship as Per NPCIL Official Notice: The trainees shall be paid stipend as follows:
@ 90% of the minimum wage for semiskilled worker if he/she had undergone 2 years ITI training at School / Institution.
@ 80% of the minimum wage for semiskilled worker if he/she had undergone 1 year ITI training at Schoo / Institution..

Educational Qualification: As per the official notice of NPCIL, the candidates must have following educational qualifications for Apprenticeship:
Fitter: ITI in Fitter Trade
Turner: ITI in Turner Trade
Machinist: ITI in Machinist Trade
Electrician: ITI in Electrician Trade
Instrument Mechanic: ITI in Instrument Mechanic Trade
Electronic Mechanic: ITI in Electronic Mechanic Trade
PASAA: ITI in PASAA /COPA Trade
Welder: ITI in Welder Trade

Age Limit for Applying NPCIL Apprenticeship: The Minimum age of the applicant should not be below 14 years and Maximum age limit is 24 years for General Candidates. Relaxation to SC/ST & OBC candidate would be given as per the Govt. of India directives.

Selection Process: As per the official notification of NPCIL, The candidates will be short listed for Apprenticeship on the basis of marks obtained in their ITI standard / course.
